Little known species that is considered strictly nocturnal. Possibly, its behavior is similar to other species of the same genus (König et al. 1999). Through museum collections, it has been recorded that this species feeds on large insects such as beetles, moths and caterpillars. Usually couples are residents in territories for a few years.
