Slow but steady, the endemic Bolson tortoise of Mapimí makes its journey through the desert, confident in its adaptation to the environment, marches towards the sun, patient and determined in a race that not even the most agile hare could beat. This living relic and the desert are the heritage of a distant marine origin and are pillars of the natural history of Mexico.
