On the Pacific coast, life begins for a small and vulnerable sea turtle. The olive ridley turtle adorns the beaches of Oaxaca in summer when they arrive en masse to lay their eggs. At birth, the small reptiles are instinctively attracted to the sea and begin their initial path toward the underwater maelstrom that awaits them.
